Universidad Latina
Universidad Latina of Costa Rica is a private institution for higher education, authorized by CONESUP (National Council for Private Education). Its main campus is located in San Pedro, San Jose.There are 9 regional campuses in different provinces around the country. Since 1989, Universidad Latina has been the most important and largest private university in Costa Rica. There are around 16,000 students enrolled in majors such as Dentistry, Medicine, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Communication, International Relations, Education, Biology, Tourism and Nursing. Universidad Veritas
Universidad Veritas is one of Costa Rica's new private universities. It is located in a residential section of the capital San José. Their Intensive Spanish for Foreign Students Program is part of the university, and offers students from around the world the opportunity to advance their Spanish language skills while taking other courses in English taught by bilingual faculty from the university. All Spanish courses are 4 week intensive.
